This is the first footbath in Gero
Hot Springs. Legend has it that about 700 years ago, one egret (shirasagi)
told villagers where the source of the hot springs was. This footbath
is named after that.
The all-wooden structure makes you feel at ease. Conveniently located
next to the Chuo parking lot.

This footbath is inside of Ryokan
Kaikan, located at the center of Hot Springs area, near the Shirasagi
Bridge. There are a handcraft shop and a cafe You can cook and sample
tasty Onsen Tamago(an egg) while you are soaking.

This is located in Gassho Village
and refashioned from the resting place in 2003. Sixteen people can
enjoy soaking at the same time. A sweet odor of Japanese cypress
and pebbles make you feel free and relaxed. Enjoy the outdoor scenery
also.
